1 · Pure cysteamine — not thioglycolate or HCL. Most systems lift with thioglycolate, or with cysteamine HCL, an acidic salt that only works once alkaline adjusters like ammonia or ethanolamine are added back in. Pure cysteamine lifts at its own gentle pH without them — mild enough to take to the very tips of the lashes.
2 · An infusion step most systems skip. Between lifting and setting — while the bonds are open and the hair is most receptive — Step 2's small actives (amino acids, hydrolyzed proteins, copper peptides, and low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid) penetrate into the cortex, while shea and botanical oils condition the surface, so the hair is conditioned through the lift rather than stripped by it.
3 · A patented cuticle-sealing finish. Step 3 is formulated around 1,3 DAPDM, a patented cuticle-sealing ingredient that reseals the cuticle after lifting and infusing and helps support the hair's internal structure as the curl sets.
